Sam Rosen Prize Fund

PURPOSE: Merit-based prize to an outstanding Economics major entering their senior year. CRITERIA: Highest GPA which will be calculated from completed courses which will be attributed to the major and all completed courses with the “ECON” prefix. ADMIN: Income plus not more than 10% of the principal may be used in any one year. Any income not used in one year will be available in future years. If the principal falls below 10% of the annual in-state tuition, the entire fund may be disbanded or redirected by a two-thirds vote of the WSBE Faculty. SELECTION: Dean of Paul College in consultation with the Director of Financial Aid. If there is a tie (GPA calculation), two awards may be made.
