Daniel Valenza Art Scholarship Fund

PURPOSE: Merit-based scholarships for students with demonstrated academic talent in woodworking or furniture making. Recipients must be juniors or seniors pursuing a BA in art with either the studio art or fine arts concentration in woodworking or furniture making, or a graduate student in residence in woodworking or furniture making. SPECIAL CRITERIA: If there are no eligible students, it may be awarded to a student with academic talent in sculpture. If no such student is found in a particular year, the money will be directed to general support of the Woodworking and Furniture Making program at the discretion of the Professor of Woodworking and Furniture Making, in consultation with the Art and Art History Department Chair. SELECTION: Professor of Woodworking and Furniture Making, in consultation with the Art and Art History Department Chair.
