UNH Manchester Books & Supplies Scholarship

The UNH Manchester Books and Supplies Fund was generously established by two faculty members in honor of their parents: Janet Miller Hoey and Robert and Jean Walsh. The purpose of this fund is to help offset expenses related to books and supplies needed in the classroom for students enrolled at UNH Manchester. Applicants need to include their estimated costs as it relates to their area of study. The amount of the award can range from $100 to $500 for one academic year and will be given to eligible students demonstrating financial need. The amount and number of awards offered will vary depending on the number of applications received and the amount of funds available.

To be considered for the award, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and brief application outlining their projected costs for books and supplies to the best of their ability. The Financial Aid office will review applications based on need, as determined by their FAFSA, and the applicant’s ability to justify their expenses. Awards will be applied as a payment to the student’s UNH account. The funds will either be applied to any unpaid balance or refunded to the student for reimbursement of expenses.
