James A. Purington Scholarship

PURPOSE: Need-based scholarships for one or more Master of Science candidates with a strong interest in the field of agriculture who are planning to pursue a career concerned with farming, farm service industries, extension work or other educational work directly related to the field of agriculture. CRITERIA: Preference for NH residents. Students who hold a teaching or research assistantship are not eligible. SELECTION: Committee of three people, two appointed by the COLSA dean, and one from the Rockingham County Farm Bureau.
