Sharon B. Murphy Scholarship Fund

PURPOSE: Merit-based scholarship support to undergraduate and graduate students in CHHS. Preference given to students with a demonstrated commitment to the prevention of sexual and relationship violence and stalking. Examples of this include, but are not limited to, having an academic focus via the Prevention Innovations Research Center or a national research organization focused on these issues, volunteering for local organizations that assist victims of sexual and relationship violence and stalking, or being an active member of a student group dedicated to the prevention of sexual relationship violence and stalking. CRITERIA: GPA of 3.0+. Additional preference will be given to students in the following majors: social work, justice studies, psychology, sociology and women’s studies. SELECTION: Dean of CHHS in consultation with the Chair of the Social Work Department and Director of Prevention Innovations
