PURPOSE: Scholarship for a freshman member of the men’s alpine ski team. Financial need is not a factor. Awards do not need to be made each year. PREFERENCE: While the scholarship may be used to replace a student’s need-based aid, it should not replace other athletic scholarship money offered as part of the recipient’s financial aid package. SELECTION: Intercollegiate Athletics Director, in consultation with the head Skiing and Alpine coaches and Friends of UNH Skiing.
