Jay McSharry '90 Diversity Scholarship Fund

PURPOSE: Need-based scholarship for students who advance the University’s academic priorities for providing an inclusive community for diverse students, especially members of groups that have been historically under-represented in higher education for reasons of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability or income as described in UNH Academic Plan 2003 – 2008. In accordance with existing law, the scholarship will be applied in a way that provides individualized considerations of applicants’ qualifications, will not impose quotas and will not impose undue burdens on applicants from other groups.
