Vernon Lerch Scholarship

PURPOSE: Need and merit-based scholarship support to sophomore, junior, and senior students majoring in Chemistry.Award amount is $250. CRITERIA: Financial need and student’s scholarship and potential leadership in the field of chemistry. ADMIN: If the income from the fund should in any year be in excess of the needs of students in the field of chemistry, the financial aid or other scholarship officer may grant scholarships or loans in the amount of $250 each to students above the Freshman level in physics and/or mathematics using the same basis for the determination of the recipients as is used for recipients in the field of chemistry. SELECTION: Chair of the Department of Chemistry in consultation with the Director of Financial Aid
