Grange-Webster Scholarship Fund

PURPOSE: Merit-based scholarships for one or more COLSA freshmen graduating from Farmington High School in Farmington, NH. CRITERIA: The ideal candidates will exhibit one or more of the following characteristics: academic excellence, service to the community, strong character, concern for the development and preservation of agriculture and an environment to sustain agriculture in NH and elsewhere, accomplishments in music and the arts. Financial need may also be considered. SELECTION: Farmington High School principal in consultation with teachers and guidance counselors at the high school and representatives of the Henry Wilson Grange shall be responsible for making recommendations to the UNH Financial Aid office by May 1 of each year. If UNH does not receive recommendations by May 1 of each year, UNH Financial Aid shall identify and select students from Farmington to receive the awards.
