NH Governor's Scholarship Program

PURPOSE:Scholarship support to eligible high school graduates to attend a participating postsecondary institution offering an educational or training program within the state of New Hampshire. Recipients must be New Hampshire residents who are eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant, will pursue or are pursuing, as a first-time, full-time student with continuous enrollment beginning in fall of 2018 or later, an eligible degree program at a participating postsecondary institution. CRITERIA: Eligible students must have graduated from high school or equivalent home school program or obtained high school equivalency certificate no more than three (3) years prior to their New Hampshire Governor’s Scholarship Program award. ADMIN: Recipients will receive $2,000 annual awards while non-New Hampshire Scholars will receive $1,000 annual awards. Award length is capped at no more than four (4) years for bachelor’s programs, no more than two (2) years for associate’s programs and no more than one (1) year for certificate programs. Scholarship reimbursement in the amount of one-half the annual scholarship award will be issued by the State of New Hampshire within 30 days of November 30th (for fall semester) and April 30th (for spring semester).
